I did reflect the message back to this list. The OP did not. I would not worry at this point what the problem is because it is solved in the latest downloadable version of OpenOffic.org. Also, this is a problem with echoing the lists to GMANE as most mailing lists place the original posters e-mail address as the reply-to address. The various OpenOffice.org mailing lists do not. Thus a well-meaing poster sends in a message like "How do I" and expects the replies to go directly to them. Several days later, a scalding message is posted like "DON'T YOU FOLKS HELP ANYBODY". Then someone gets the bright idea to actually look at the mail headers and finds that the poster: 1. Posted from an echo source. 2. Is not subscribed to the list. Thus the 'brilliant' individual does the following: 1. Replies to the original request. 2. Advises that the OP join the users list in not so nice language. Well, the question is now answered and the OP actually has no need to join this list so why bother? They will just end up with a mailbox full of messages that they cannot use. Thus my original reply comment of "KEEP MESSAGES ON THE LIST" is still a waste of time and bandwidth, especially if the problem relates to a fixed OpenOffice.org bug and the fix is easy "Download the latest version".
