It's a configuration issue on your side. 
OpenOffice.org understands WebDAV natively and does not need any helper 
scripts ( the one which makes a copy of the document in the /tmp directory 
and uploads the file after you exit from OOo ).

If you use Konqueror, then make sure that the file associations for 
OpenOffice.org cantains "%U" which passes the URL to the application. then 
when OOo is started it has the WebDAV URL and using "File" -> "Save" causes 
OOo to webdav the file back to the web server.
