I know it is weak - I opened protected files myself when users lost their pwd. But this is how it is - users and management want files to be passworded, which requires .ods. Sending .ods requires OO on the other end. Forcing business partner into installing some piece of software on their computers is very troublesome for me as systems administrator (as I do not even know them personally) and for boss (because he is technology-impaired).
Installing PGP even more difficult because it requires training at both sides. > -----Original Message----- > From: Dan Lewis [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Thursday, August 10, 2006 3:11 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [users] Calc - saving in .xls with password protection? > > On Thursday 10 August 2006 05:22 am, Eike Rathke wrote: > > Hi Kirill, > > > > On Thu, Aug 10, 2006 at 10:32:43 +0400, Kirill S.
