hi ! well the problem is this that we have been recently shifted from windows to LInux platform.We used to use IE and Microsoft Office.The copy paste thing did well there and the office suite even asked the proxy authentication but copy from internet and pasting directly into writer does not works.I cannot use IE.plz suggest something that what could be the possibilities that why the ooo writer is not prompting for username and password for proxy authentication.thank you.

Please learn how to use a spellchecker and proper word - not every on this list are native txtmsg spkrs and therefore they may not all understandthe garbled message above - and the less people who can understand it, the less chance you have of getting a response. Have you tested to see if Internet Exploder setup in a similar way has the same problems ?
