Isn't it a case of having the appropriate dictionaries installed? For the languages I use, File > Wizard > Install new dictionaries gets what I need. After that I simply follow what is in the User Guide section entitled "Checking Multilingual Texts" The guide can be had from http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/OOo2.x/user_guide2_draft.pdf If this is incomplete, sure would appreciate the missing information. -- PLEASE KEEP MESSAGES ON THE LIST.
