Not exactly sure what you mean by "5 sections horizontally". I'm
assuming that you're talking a word processing file (I could even be
wrong there, in which case, ignore the rest of the message). If you
want vertical columns arranged in a horizontal row, you might make
use of Format/Columns. If you want horizontal rows, you might be
able to use Table/Insert/Table, with 5 rows and 1 column.

If this is a "data file" I would use the CALC portion, save as a .CSV
and import into BASE. Very simple procedure that I use on a daily basis.
You are very possibly correct. I similarly make extensive use of .csv
files in Calc.
This question, then, to the original poster: What, more specifically,
are you trying to do here?
