Do you not have a calendar programme which is compatible with the
programme issuing the ics files?

Thank you for the reply.
I don't use any specific program for my working agenda. Therefore, I
have not made a thorough search to find software compatible with the
.ics files I received. Thunderbird alone is fine in displaying these
emails. The problem only occurs when Lightning is enabled. I did open
.ics in a text editor and find information among a lot of dizzy text
lines.
I think the best I can do right now is to wait for the next release of
the plugin and see whether these will be any improvement.
