I am using openoffice 2.0 with windows xp. Everytime I start my computer
and log on as Adele (my wife) she gets an error message:
OpenOffice2.0 Press "start recovery" to start recovery process of Docs.
listed below. The listed document is "Eating" I have no such document.
The recovery fails, and we then cancel process. But it happens again the
next time she logs on for the first time of the day. I am a registered
user. Steve Ben'Ary, Benary Associates. How can I end this process
without deleting program (which I have done, then reloaded, with same
result).
I remember when Adele asked the question! She received several answers.
The basic answer is to press Cancel, and not attempt a recovery. The
program shouldn't try to recover the document again.
If you've tried that and it doesn't work, please report back.
