Sorry to bother everyone but I was looking at OpenOffice v2.0.3 on a windows xp sp2 based machine and a compatibility issue came to mind.
I see you can save a file in MS Word 2000/xp file format but what about word 2003? I know we can open word 2003 documents but do they lose some formatting if I resave it due to the fact that it only saves it in office xp format(excluding the open document format, all M$ here) in the word 200/xp format? Can we tell the difference by looking at an office 2003 file and office 2002 file? Thanks for your input everyone. Keep up the good work, you're help with OpenOffice to me and the many others are much appreciated. Jim [EMAIL PROTECTED]
