Since OpenOffice.org 1.1.0, you could install over the top of the
present installation with a newer version. (This was true up to
1.1.5.) With OOo 2.0 versions you can do the same thing: install a
later versio of 2.0 over the top of the earlier version. This
effectively upgrades OOo to the newer version. Just remember that you
can not upgrade any of the 1.1.x version to 2.0 this way. You do not
have to remove the older program to install the newer one.
Furthermore, you must download the entire program regardless of
whether you are upgrading or installing OOo for the first time.
