I've been having difficulty configuring bullets. At first, invoking bullets via the taskbar indented paragraphs 2.5", though there was no setting that would cause that.
Just by shaking things up, I eliminated that problem. But now I find that nothing I do via Format/"Bullets and Numbering" has any effect on which character is used for the bullet. Clicking the Bullet icon toggles among a simple dot, a hollow chevron, and no bullet. Where the chevron is coming from, I don't know. And my efforts to use an alternate to the dot have not worked either. Am I missing a step here, or is OO having difficulty reading its options on this point?
