Actually, it will. M$ makes its money selling to the
likes of Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc. Those PCs will ship with
Vista, regardless of what the consumer may want (and lets
face it, most of them have absolutely no clue).
Box copies may not match XP sales, but then, XP has
been on the shelf for at least 5 years - slightly longer
than M$ originally forecast.
The more interesting question is how many cattle will
revolt when they start tangling with the nagware M$ built
into long (overdue) horn. Since most of them are used
to the FDH user model, getting nagged will come as an
unpleasant shock. And that is a good thing...
