First, the Harold metioned in the original mail was Harold Fuchs form London. 
He had an offlist discussion in which he was accused of Nazi-practicis. No need 
to discuss this any further here.

Second, the issue at hand was that the friend demanded that the way OOo inserts 
pictures was sorted out in the next release. According to this friend it was 
not possible to select your own folders from which to select pictures. Harold 
explained that on windows there is no such problem and that it is very well 
possible to choose any folder one would like. He also asked the OP to state the 
OS on which the problem occured and also the version of OOo. Neither of these 
information was received in return.
