Is this the first time you have run OpenOffice.org on this particular system? If the answer to the last question, this MUST be done as a user with administrative rights otherwise the program will fail. If you are running OpenOffice.org as a user with administrative rights, please run the following command from the Terminal program located in the Applications -> Utilities folder and advise the results:
