Hi, I am starting to tear my hair out, as I am very stuck trying to install Open Office on Mac OSX (10.4.4). I have downlaoded the latest office application from the website, but when i try and run it, it tells me I need something called AppleX11 first. I foud this, and downloaded it, yet it wont let me finish the installation, as it says that there is newer software already on the hard drive. This is where I am stuck, I dont know what this software is, and I have read that it should come already loaded onto the Mac, if so why wont open office load. This is really bugging me, as I would really like to use open office, and nit have to shell out for Microsoft Office for Mac...PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
