I'm on Windows XP, OOo 2.0.4.
I'm encountering a very aggravating situation with a Writer file
repeatedly freezing up. The file is a newsletter, with quite a few
sections, many in a 2-column format. The file size is not all that large
at this point, as I haven't added any photos, although there are a few
graphic elements included. It is less than 1 MB, around 12 pages.
I can work with it fine for a while, then it will freeze up, and Ctrl
Alt Delete is the only way of moving forward. I open it up, do a simple
thing like add or delete a line, and it freezes up again.
I've done newsletters like this using OOo for a couple of years and have
not encountered this problem up to now. This is the first one that I've
done with 2.0.4, but I'm not necessarily blaming this version, it could
well be something else.
Has anyone else encountered anything like this? Any ideas at all? Thanks
