Greetings: I wish to download OpenOffice.org (version 2.0.4) to my laptop's OS, which is MicroSoft Windows ME. If I do so, am I likely to encounter any problems?
Hello Just some precautions will spare you from trouble (some antivirus protection programs will mess up the installation proceedings): main site for downloading is http://download.openoffice.org/2.0.4/ after downloading OOo 2.0.4 for Windows ME, shut down your internet connection, disable temporarily your antivirus and firewall, then install OOo. Don't forget to activate your antivirus program(s) and reconnect with the web.
