I am encountering that pressing Ctrl-F3 does not open
Autotext dialog.
I see this on 3 machines: one with OO 2.0.4 RC3, the other
post 2.0.4
680m3 and OO 1.9xx (all WinXP).
Ctrl-F3 is correctly mapped to "Autotext" in
Tools\Customize\Keyboard.
I've the same situation (german environement). I already
controlled the
keyboard-definition: it has "autotext" asigned to CTRL+F3.
I have discovered the source of the problem - Intervideo media player
has assigned Ctrl-F3 shortcut to itself, apparently blocking OO from
receiving the signal.
Not sure what is the correct behavior in cases like this.
Thanks for your answer. I've linux and don't know the "Intervideo media
player". I searchen in the linux-control-center, but did not find which
application could have assigned CTRL+F3.
Hi, Claudia. Any interference is likely to be from the desktop itself.
On Kde and Xfce it is possible to alter such shortcuts; no doubt, on
Gnome as well.
In Kde, the shortcuts are managed in the Accessibility section of the
Kde control centre. On Xfce, it is the Window Manager module of the
Settings Manager.
