Hi! I closed OOo writer without realizing that I had not saved the file. So, does anyone know how I could recover the file? It's a major research paper, so any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
Hello Suniya • normally, when you start OOo up again, it will propose to recover any file that was not saved in the previous session (OOo developers thought especially about you it seems) • what choices did you make for back-up and automatic saving every n minutes? See Tools > Options > Load/Save. If automatic backup and/or save every n minutes are activated, you stiil have to find out where... See Tools
Options > OpenOffice.org > Paths.
