‧ normally, when you start OOo up again, it will propose to recover
any file
that was not saved in the previous session (OOo developers thought
especially about you it seems)
‧ what choices did you make for back-up and automatic saving every n
minutes? See Tools > Options > Load/Save. If automatic backup and/
or save
every n minutes are activated, you stiil have to find out where...

Options > OpenOffice.org > Paths.
‧ click on the Help button more often! It provides lots of
information.
