To get a new Calc sheet, people running Macs seem to have to run Writer and then do File>New>Spreadsheet. Those same people, if they are new to OO, seem unable to find this "trick". This is evidenced by the number of times we get asked the question. I have to say, as a Windows user, that I find the method totally counterintuitive and, frankly, bizarre. Wouldn't it be possible for the Mac installer to install shortcuts or links (or whatever they are called on a Mac) to the other components?
