It sounds like it is blue screening. By default, if XP hits a BSOD, it will automatically reboot. If you can start it in safe mode, you can turn this behavior off in the system properties. This will allow you to see the blue screen error and there is a slim chance it will give you a clue as to the cause. Even in safe mode, you should be able to uninstall programs. In the meantime, you might try hitting F8 repeatedly just as your computer starts to reboot until you get the boot menu. Try the "last known good configuration" choice. This *might* successfully roll-back some changes and allow you to boot normally. If this fails, I would look at doing some hardware testing. The few times I've seen XP blue screen, it has been either a bad driver, or something seriously wrong with the hardware. It's possible OO did this, but I doubt it, especially as OO doesn't install any drivers AFAIK. -- Fail to learn history-repeat it. Fail to learn rights-lose them.
