Gustavo,
You probably downloaded the wrong file. OpenOffice normally runs on a
power PC. You need the Mac-OS version 10 and you must install the
X11-program that can be found on the CD/DVD that came with you PC.
I'm not a Mac-user so I can't really help you any further, but there are
lots of Mac-users on this mailinglist. So if you have any questions feel
free to come back to this mailinglist.
