You could convert the file (File>Save As ...); unless you have a
compelling reason for keeping it in Word format ???
You may want to let us know if, after making several versions of an OOo
document, you save the document in Word format. Presumably it's the
*latest* version that gets saved - or can you Save As a previous
version?
Never occurred to me that we were talking non *.odt.
