Dear Frank, You have two options: 1. After you create or edit a document in OOo you can save it in MS Office format and you can distribute it to anyone who uses MS Office. Then they'll be able to open, read, and edit it.
2. to uninstall OOo, and if your operating system is any Windows, go to <Control Panel>, <Add or Remove Programmes>.
