That isn't it. It looks like some type of plotting file or something
similar. If I run strings {file.tc} I get a formula and some text
that looks like the legends and titles. They are small.

Googling ".tc files" brings up this page:
http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=TC. Interestingly (?) one of the
file types belongs to OpenOffice. Hope this helps.
