You still have the "Use system font for user interface" setting checked. Try turning that off. OOo will use it's own "Andale Sans UI" font (at least I think that's the one) instead.

I'm going to predict that won't make you real happy either (it's a wimpy thin font). but maybe it's functional.

The next step is to re-enable that setting, but change your "System font" settings, and see if you can find something that works for OOo and everything else. Unfortunately I can't tell you how to do that as it looks like you're using a different desktop setup (I'm using Fedora/Gnome).

If other "System font" settings also look too big in OOo, but ok elsewhere, it may be a bug in OOo or your distro's configuration of it.
