In Thunderbird you can set a filter that stipulates that if a message has a
"Delivered-To: " header *and* that header says "moderator for
users@openoffice.org" (or whatever) then highlight the message in red (or
green or blue or ...). This does *not* involve moving or copying the message
to a different mailbox or folder and it does not involve breaking any
threads. It also does not invlove looking at the headers yourself other than
just once to get the correct syntax for the filter. And to save you that
trouble, the header name is "Delivered-To: " and the relevant value is
"moderator for users@openoffice.org".
