You must set your browser to download to the flash drive or cd drive. I use firefox and I did this by going to tools, and then Options. When you get to the options page go to 'downloads' from this page I re-set the default to "ask me where to save every file'
I am sure IE will have something similar.

When you have the file downloaded and you manage to open it can you tell me which program you used. I get a message asking which program created the file and I have never found out
