Subject: Re: which template was used when the doc was created?
Thanks, Russell.
[1] Looking for template-info in File/Properties is a reasonable thing to
do -- and I did look there before submitting my query but somehow did not
see the template-info. Do I need new glasses? or a better-focused brain?
[2] The information that you gave me -- that the underlying template for
a document is identified in File/Properties/General -- really should be in
the User Guide and the Writer Help files. I looked there but found nothing.
[3] BTW, in File/Properties/Help, there is some info under the heading
Document Number but that heading really should be Version Number.
Items [2] and [3] should be communicated to someone at oppenoffice.org but I
am not sure how to do that. Could it be that the folk at openoffice.org are
monitoring this list and will thus see this message?
Ben
