I am a mac user MacBook white 2.0Ghz MacOSX 10.4.8 X11 1.1.3 OpenOffice 2.1.0 OpenOffice starts and it shows the dialog for the fonts, it continues with the initialization progress bar but when the initialization completes the only thing that is loaded and running is X11. Hello, The Mac porting team at OpenOffice.org has useful FAQ and How-To files ( http://porting.openoffice.org/mac) Some ideas for solving your problem: • Did you check the preferences in X11, in particular in Export: desactivate full screen mode • Also under X11, do you see any OOo under Window, or some window you can access with Apple-2 ?
