That is an interesting question and would be a good request for enhancement
- a nice meaty one for some eager programmer.

If you look at the keyboard tab, the menu tree does not feature at all. 
There is a list of categories.  Add-ons is not one of them.  The only add-on
which I have installed is Text to Columns in Calc and that has installed a
macro library.  I could assign a keyboard shortcut to the relevant macro in
that library in order to operate the add-on.

Is the sub-menu still called "Add-Ons" rather than "Extensions"?  (I feel a
minor issue coming on.)
