I click on the Fontwork Gallery icon and select a style. The word "fontwork"
appears in large white letters.
I double click the object and a small "fontwork" appears.
I highlight it and right click. In the dropdown menu I select 'area' and then
'area' tab. I select a color and click OK.
As I type my text the little 'fontwork' word is replaced by it and appears in
the color I selected.
When I click outside the object, the text I typed appears in the size and
font I chose but not in color. It is white just like the original 'Fontwork'
object that I began the whole process with.
I even tried highlighting the little 'fontwork' word and right clicking it.
In the dropdown menu I selected 'characters' and then 'font effects' tab. After
selecting the color I clicked OK. My text appeared in the color, but when I
clicked outside the object, I ended up with the plain white letters that the
whole process started with.
This is frustrating since the Fontwork Gallery shows the various styles in
color. Has anybody out there in cyberspace been able to get color in fontwork?
