Thanks for posting and thanks for volunteering.
I use OpenOffice Writer and Calc and think they are great. I was trying to logon to the forums and the forgot password wizard told me to contact an administrator. My account is inactive, actually never completed registration. Part of the problem was the fact that I was trying to register via FoxFire and it has trouble with confirmation codes ( I used correct case). Further attempts to register informed me that my e-mail addresses were already assigned. E-mail addresses: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Password I tried was most likely wlweller. User ID is usually jhite jvhite OR HMS Surprise Sorry I cannot remember explicitly but I had a recent injury that affects my memory. Best Regards, John Hite
Hmmmm. If the registration never completed, the only things I can suggest are a) set up a new e-mail address on, say Hotmail or for preference Gmail and register it. b) set up a new e-mail address at one of your existing companies (datavoiceint or texoma) and register it. For example, set up " [EMAIL PROTECTED]". I think this would be my preference. I have to say I find it a little weird that one can't contact the board administrator without a user ID *and* password even though it says "contact the administrator" in the event of this sort of problem. By the way, as far as I know the forums are not run by people associated with this mail list and, for registered users this mail list has no "administrator" in that sense. Hence my original question. -- Harold Fuchs London, England Please reply *only* to [email protected]
