This is a volunteer support group for the OpenOffice.org suite of
programs. We work in our spare time without pay. We do not require
registration and we do not use, let alone require passwords. We are not
connected to the OpenOffice forum to which I presume you are referring.
Unfortunately it seems that there is no way of contacting the forum
administrator without knowing the e-mail address *and* password with
which you registered. My only suggestion is that you create a new e-mail
address, preferably on Gmail, and register it with a password you take
care to remember - you *are* asked for it twice to ensure you don't make
typing mistakes.
The reason I recommend Gmail is that you can have received mail
forwarded to your "real" e-mail address so that you can see OpenOffice
traffic without having to log on to Gmail. Of course, you'd need to log
on to Gmail to *send* messages from your registered address. You can
also configure most mail programs (Outlook Express, Thunderbird, ...) to
get/send Gmail messages so you don't *need* to access it via a browser.
See the Gmail Help for details.
