Hi Guys
I was wondering prior to purchasing a $200 program, IF I can use OpenOffice to
write an E-Book????
The program I'm looking at is "E-book Pro 6" I remembered I had OpenOffice and
wondered if it would write PDF files as most ebooks are in PDF format.
If the only thing that an e-book needs to be is in PDF format - then
OOo can easily convert what you have written to PDF format.
You'll need to check that there is nothing more required in the
production of an e-book.
But it seems that OOo will be able to meet your needs.

Huh ?? Defender doesn't stop spyware (Webroot) ; firewall is only 50%
effective (Zdnet) ; UAC can be turned off and is annoying ; SP1 (incl
security reasons) due end of 2007...
