I tried Word a few other applications but it either doesn’t come up

come up because, and you can see why. I am attaching the document in
hopes that you can maybe tell more, by openig the document yourself,
as to what I did wrong.Can you please help me with this, or maybe tell
me what is the problem?
I am etremely worried as I am in the process of looking for a job, and
this is the only place I have my resume saved.

The "ODT" in  the file name indicates you didn't save it as a "DOC"
file, which Word requires.  When you use "Save as", make sure you select
the correct file type.  You can also try using File > Send > Email as
Microsoft Word.  Also, if most of your documents are in Word format, you
can set that as your default file type.
