Download OpenOffice at <http://www.openoffice.org/>. It contains a part similar (but not identical) to MS Word. It allows you to save documents in MS Word format, and to open MS Word documents. In very complex documents, there may be things that are not perfectly converted between these two formats. Note that OpenOffice is totally free (no cost). Download the whole OpenOffice, because you won't save much memory space if you download only OpenOffice Writer.
