A far superior alternative desktop publishing program "Scribus" is available as a free download from http://www.scribus.net Scribus (like most other software) cannot open Publisher files. Hope this helps. Dave -- This is a mailing list which exists to support users of OpenOffice.org All answers are given by other users who volunteer their time.
