Arnold I realise your report was well intentioned, but under the OOo (OpenOffice.org) licence: http://www.openoffice.org/license.html selling media which contains OOo is permitted and is not a criminal act. In fact distributing OOo (for free or payment) is positively encouraged. There is even a list of suggested distributors on the OOo website: http://distribution.openoffice.org/cdrom However, the eBay seller in question indicates that OOo will be "Delivered Digitally" (i.e. downloaded from a web server), which suggests to me that they are selling nothing more than a link to the OOo download page or one of the download mirror servers. While this practice is not illegal in most countries, it is definitely immoral and deceptive. Unfortunately, OOo is unable to take "action" against such practices. The only worthwhile option is for you and others who may feel strongly about this, to raise the issue with eBay.
