I'm working on it, don't worry :-) But to end the thread, a couple of people have been kind enough to mention the print-to-pdf drivers (eg bullzip or cutepdf) that are around for XP. So problem solved. (IIRC last time I looked these either costed, or printed their logo on the output; things seem to have changed for the better). I'm wondering whether it's worth raising an issue as a suggested improvement for OOo to do this directly.
