From Guy Voets in an earlier email question: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To change the icon (i.e. with which program to open a certain file type): • highlight one of these files (e.g. a *.doc file) • Apple-I will open the File Info • 5th trangle = Open with • Choose OpenOffice 2.2 (or whatever version you have (if OOo isn't in the droplist, chose Other and find OOo in the Applications folder) • Click on Change All to have OOo open all files of this type. Now the icon of all these files should change to the OOo icon remark: if you use the Save As Word option in the File menu of OOo (preferably with extension added automatically), the icon will of course be Word again (or none at all, as on my computer, since I have no M$ Word anymore). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dan --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
