Normally I do not want person's names hyphenated. I realize there are

Some say don't hyphenate anything that is capitalized, others say
hyphenate everything. What I used to do in Word was tell it not to
hyphenate anything capitalized, then insert manual hyphens if I wanted
to do so anyway. I can't find that functionality in OOo 2.2. Actually,
a better option would be to hyphenate everything but tell Writer not to
hyphenate specific words on a case by case basis. I can't find that
option either. I selected a name that Writer had hyphenated, but
couldn't find any way to turn off the hyphenation just for that word.
What is the secret?
The easiest thing to do today is to mark the word
Format->Character->Font->Language->[None]. This means, however, that it
will also not be spellchecked.
