With current OOo it is well doable, to make OOoDic and OOoFont into extensions. The extension provides a toolbar, click > document opens, read info, search button, click > macro from library is started.
This is more complicated for users than just opening a document.
They have to know how to add and remove extensions.
But that is all straight forward IMO, via the GUI and in about 6 mouseclicks.
