Hi. I have to write a large document, and adopted the setup described in the writer guide, page 332 onwards (Method 3. Complete control).

This entails that I create a template, uses the template to create master and sub documents, and only add new, or modify, styles in the template. I then have to close the document I'm working on and reopen it for any style changes to be available in that document.

This gets veerryy tedious and noninteractive. Is there an easier way to propagate changes to styles between the documents?

I would like to edit the styles in any document until they look right, save changes to the template and then synchronize all the other documents to the template, but I guess there's no way to make it that simple...
