Some e-mail programs simply won't allow graphics in the body of the message. Others, like Outlook Express, have to be configured to allow it. One of the considerations is whether your e-mail program is configured to send "text only" or "HTML". If the former, then graphics will automatically be sent as attachments. Please consult the Help and/or other support facilities for whichever e-mail program you are using. Please also note that an individual recipient of one of your messages will *not* necessarily see the graphics in the body of the message. Whether or not he/she does depends on *his/her* e-mail program and the way it is configured. -- Harold Fuchs London, England Please reply *only* to [email protected]
Sorry to reply to my own post but there's another consideration I forgot. Most (all?) e-mail programs won't be able to display native OpenOffice documents/drawings. Also, it seems that you can't (????) save an OO drawing in any commonly accepted format like jpg, tiff, bmp etc. Please someone tell me I'm wrong ... -- Harold Fuchs London, England Please reply *only* to [email protected]
