When I said you are stubborn I was not being unkind. I was stating a fact that you have clearly demonstrated in all your posts. You don't like change and you don't really like the new technology that is available. You want to do things the old way. That is stubborn or a softer way to say it you are set in your ways and don't want to change. > Here's a challenge to you: specify a GNU/Linux distribution to me > that I can download and straightforwardly install - only routine > questions to answer - no gotchas, no "oh, that won't work on > _your_ hardware I'm afraid, _sir_". Go to http://www.pclinuxos.com I use to run Fedora and had to jump through hoops to get it to work the way I wanted it to work. PcLinuxOS simply works and the developers don't have _any_ agreements with Microsoft. I am running that OS on three boxes two of them 5+ year old desktops that I built. The other is a two year old Dell laptop provided by my employer. Send me an e-mail off list if you want since we are OT. -- http://webpages.charter.net/jlgates Microsoft users go to http://www.pclinuxos.com for a great user friendly Linux experience! --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
