You do not need a password to use the OOo (OpenOffice.org) program. The
only time you will have to enter a password is if you try to open a
document created with password protection. Just opening the program to
create a new document will never ask for a password.

Please tell us what words you actually see when you are asked for this
password. Maybe that will give us a clue as to where this password
request is really coming from.
