There is a list of CD vendors on the web site, but there may be other
issues.  Did the download complete?  Was it corrupted?  Does the problem
occur during install?  If so, any error messages?  etc.

You can check for file corruption, by verifying the md5sum, as described
here: http://download.openoffice.org/2.3.0/md5sums.html
