Hello, Someone has sent me one of those evil files in the Mcrosoft 2007 docx format.
I have scoured the internet for a way to convert it. I have used a couple of on-line methods to try to convert it (zamzar and Docx-Converter.com and both failed. I have tried to use a method involving a Novell stand-alone converter, but it has installed and disappeared from my system :-( Are there yet any linux open source methods for opening this thing? Failing that, can someone tell me how to use regular expressions to remove the formatting commands in the basic xml file i.e. <I want to remove anything between these brackets> No matter how long I look at the help file my brain just does not get reg ex !
